Day 1
Arrive Srinagar - Local Sightseeing
On arrival at Srinagar airport our representative heartily greets you and assists you to transfer you to hotel. Check in the hotel, freshen up and relax for a while. In the evening enjoy the local sightseeing and Shikara ride on Dal Lake and witness the marvel of the nature that is beyond visual and verbal descriptions. The Sun-set view from the Shikara will engulf your heart and leave your spell bound. Later enjoy the welcome dinner and overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 2
Srinagar to Gulmarg Day Trip
Early morning Drive to Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the meadow of flowers is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow-capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees. Stroll leisurely or take pony rides (by your own payment) across the green meadow to one of the world's highest Golf Course. A must is a fun-filled ride in the Gondola lift (by your own payment). Return to Srinagar Hotel.
Day 3
Srinagar to Pahalgam.
Early in the morning leave for Pahalgam the 'valley of shepherds' which is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheeshnag lake. En route visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman. On arrival into Pahalgam enjoy the surrounding beauty or walk to Baisaren, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam. A small village set in pine and fir forest is pleasing and offers good view. Overnight stay at Pahalgam Hotel.
Day 4
pahalgam to srinagar houseboat.
After breakfast drive to Srinagar. Arrive Srinagar and enjoy local sightseeing Tour of Srinagar. Visit Shankar Acharya Temple, famous Mughal Gardens Nishat ( Garden of pleasure ) overlooking the crystal clear emerald green waters of the Dal lake then to Shalimar ( Garden of Love ). Each one is more beautiful than the one visited before. You will walk along the terraced flower beds, past splashing of marble pavilions and fountains with snow capped peaks of the Himalayas & Cheshmaashahi (Royal Spring.) Also visit Hazratbal Mosque. Evening enjoy Shikara ride on Dal lake , visit floating gardens , lotus gardens, vegetable gardens, back water of lake cruise will go through canals, also pay visit to paper machi and wood carving handicrafts . Enjoy Overnight in the houseboat.
Day 5
Return home with happy memories.

When and where does the tour end?
Your tour will conclude in San Francisco on Day 8 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!
When and where does the tour start?
Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Los Angeles. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
Do you arrange airport transfers?
Airport transfers are not included in the price of this tour, however you can book for an arrival transfer in advance. In this case a tour operator representative will be at the airport to greet you. To arrange this please contact our customer service team once you have a confirmed booking.
What is the age range
